EducAid runs an educational network comprising of free schools, teacher training, and tertiary programmes in Sierra Leone. In 2016, inHive was brought on as an advisory partner to improve the impact of its recently launched 3,000 strong alumni network.
inHive examined the past performance of the network and advised on data collection and management, strategic planning and impactful activities to support the most marginalized students. By August 2018, the network was strong and agile enough to mobilise in response to devastating flooding in Freetown, supporting students who had lost their homes and families.
Erin Northey, CEO of EducAid, said:
“Working with inHive gave EducAid’s Alumni Network crucial independence. Encouraging support and thought-provoking questions from inHive helped the EducAid Alumni Network to establish a constitution and structure to guide the network for years to come.
“inHive are wonderful to work with – very responsive and great communicators. Their guidance is trusted and valued by both EducAid and the EducAid Alumni Network.”
