CARE (Cooperation for Advancement, Rehabilitation and Education) Pakistan provides free and quality education to over 285,000 underprivileged children in Pakistan.
InHive is working with them to pilot alumni networks at 20 schools, with support from the UK Government administered Small Charities Challenge Fund.
Since late 2018, we have provided training and advice to empower the CARE team to develop alumni networks for themselves. Building on our inhive approach, CARE has established alumni committees that have been successful at hosting career talks and expanding educational aspirations. One alumni group has helped enroll the first girls in a village to go to school.
Aisha Suhailm, Board Member of CARE Foundation, said:
“We are thrilled to be partnering with inHive and the UK Government for the development of a long-lasting CARE Alumni Network. This initiative will not only enhance peer-to-peer engagement, but also provide a wonderful support network for the foundation’s current and past students.”
