Why Networks

Networks are communities made up of people.

These people then share their connections and relationships to help expand opportunities for others.

The challenges that young people face today – from climate change to highly unequal economic and social structures – can’t be solved by one organisation, government, or institution alone, it will take a network that includes them.

Research shows that collaboration through inclusive, diverse and future-orientated networks can:

  • change an individual’s circumstances for the better
  • cultivate learning and awareness
  • scale innovations
  • build collective capacity to bring about social change for young people
