End of Year Newsletter

Dear partners,
As we reflect on 2025 I’m thrilled to share the impact and progress that we have made together in demonstrating how the power of networks contributes to systems change. This period has been marked by continued strengthened partnerships and expanded outreach. We’ve continued to conduct impactful training through the Building Alumni Community and Impact Networks (BAC-IN) program; attended the Baobab summit (Nairobi, October 2025) where we presented our impact report at the Partner Convening session. We move forward in using multi-media and story telling, through hosting insightful webinars, and empowering young people in how networks can meet the challenges they face in achieving better life outcomes.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our supporters who have contributed to another year of growth, and meaningful impact.
This year reaffirmed something core to our mission: strong networks turn opportunity into reality. Across our community, young leaders took bold action, partner institutions strengthened their alumni engagement strategies, and our global network grew more connected than ever.
We look forward to stepping into 2026 with renewed purpose and shared commitment. We wish you a very happy holiday and a wonderful 2026!
— Kamini Paul, CEO, InHive Global

Hosted during the Mastercard Foundation’s Baobab Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, inHive held its Annual Review Meeting with Mastercard Foundation Scholar University partners, consortium partners and scholar alumni, showcasing the impact of the BAC-IN programme (2023–2025). The event featured two panel discussions:
‘Scholar Alumni & University Partners share reflections and lessons’
‘Interactive Inclusive Alumni Network Refugees, Disability, and the Future of Alumni Engagement’
The Alumni Steering Group also hosted their own booths.
The highlights of the convening were:
- Reflecting on progress made across alumni networks
- Sharing and learning best practices
- Mapped next steps for sustainable alumni community growth
This milestone gathering also marked the launch of the BAC-IN Annual Impact Report 2025 and the accompanying “How-to Guide.”
“It’s remarkable how much learning and progress can be achieved in just under three years. inHive Global’s Impact Report reinforces our conviction that building formal, inclusive, and engaged alumni communities and impact networks is essential for long-term institutional impact.”
Bright Kemasuode
“Our work with inHive is an empowerment pipeline for persons with disabilities (PWDs) that has only just begun, and this Impact Report is a clear sign of equity in practice.”

New Project: Voices of Belonging
Over the past months, our partnership with Progress in Dialogue through the Young Gamechangers Fund—co-funded by the Co-op Foundation and the Global Fund for Children—has continued to grow and create meaningful impact.
At the centre of this collaboration is the Voices of Belonging Youth Network, a dynamic platform led by Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller (GRT) young women who are working to build solidarity, shift public narratives, and drive long-term systemic change and policy dialogue across the UK.
