CARE (Cooperation for Advancement, Rehabilitation and Education) Pakistan provides free and quality education to over 285,000 underprivileged children in Pakistan. InHive is working with them to pilot alumni networks at 20 schools, with support from the UK Government administered Small Charities Challenge Fund. Since late 2018, we have provided training and advice to empower the CARE team to develop alumni networks for themselves. inHive, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, conducted research into the feasibility of a Global Alumni Network looking to bring people together from across the Mastercard Foundation portfolio in Africa. It includes input from over 300 current and former program participants as well as partner institution staff from 19 countries and 23 partner programs. LEAP (the ‘Lending for Education in Africa Partnership’) is a social lending fund that provides affordable finance to youth from low and middle-income backgrounds in East Africa.
